Objectives, Authority, and Definition Section 1: Objectives of the Navy League Cadet Corps 0110 - General 0110.1 The Navy League Cadet Corps is a voluntary organization whose objectives are to give young people ages 11 to 14 mental, moral, and physical training through naval and related instruction; to develop principles of patriotism and discipline; and to instill in them a sense of duty and respect for self and others. Section 2: Authority to Make Regulations 0120 - General 0120.1 Through executive agreement with the Navy League of the United States, the Naval Sea Cadet Corps is authorized to establish and administer regulations for the Navy League Cadet Corps. 0120.2 Navy League Cadet Corps Regulations, as established by the Naval Sea Cadet Corps, are the regulations and instructions for the administration and operation of the Corps. These regulations supplement NSCC Regulations; governing articles are indicated where applicable. Section 3: Definitions

0140 - General 0140.1 Unit formation is a two-step process: 0140.2 Support facilities and number of adult leaders permitting, a NLCC Training Ship may begin forming with five cadets. After one year the unit must increase to ten cadets and within two years it must have 15 cadets, the minimum required to form and commission a Training Ship. |
