MEMORANDUM
1. NSCC NHQ has been informed that Captain Keith T. Weaver passed away 18 April 2000. Captain Weaver was NSCC Executive Director for 16 plus years, followed by a tour as the National President, and three years as the National Chairman. Captain Weaver instituted most of the programs now in being in the NSCC. He served the NSCC organization faithfully and well for 25 years, making numerous improvements in the program and organization. A staunch advocate, he most recently assisted the NSCC by serving on the NLUS' Budget Committee deliberations, resulting in an improved NSCC Budget. He was an inspiration to all. It is most fitting that one of the NSCC/NLCC major awards is named in his honor. He will remember as one of the major contributors to the NSCC program.
