1. In 2002, the Navy League will observe its' 100th anniversary and the Naval Sea Cadet Corps will be 40 years old. A year 2002 NSCC membership goal of 12,000 was established to recognize these historic benchmarks. However, at this time registrations are in the vicinity of 8,800 members. It is obvious that immediate steps have to be taken in we are to reach a nearly 50% growth in a four year period. 2. Enclosure (1), developed by LCDR Joseph M. Land, Sr., NSCC, speaks for itself and is forwarded for your review with a recommendation for possible adoption at the local level to help reach our goal. 3.
