1. Enclosure (1) was recently secured by NHQ and is being passed along for information to all NSCC units. 2. This instruction was implemented over a year ago by the Naval Reserve Force and is important to all units. The information contained herein relates the Naval Reserve Force's and the Department of the Navy's continue support "to the maximum extend possible within the limits of available resources; and to the extent that this participation will not interfere with assigned military missions" 3. Of importance to units that have Naval Reserve activities in their area is section 7a which establishs an NSCC liaison officer at each reserve activity. Those units having this access should utilize this resource to the fullest extent possible, especially regarding local training assistance. 4. Please pass this information along to your junior officers.
