1. Region 11 uniquely enjoys the opportunity to provide NLCC cadets a sequence of summer training that includes a third summer's training, scheduled as Advanced II. Historically, the Basic Military Requirements (BMR) Correspondence Course has been used as the primary subject matter for this training. Questions have arisen regarding the teaching and use of this course as Advanced II and the crediting of this course towards NSCC program requirements. Policy is as follows: a. Use and teaching BMR as Advanced II is authorized and encouraged. However, the following prerequisites must be met by all participating NLCC cadets: (1) Cadets must be in their third year of affiliation
as a NLCC cadet. b. The following requirements must be met in teaching the course. (1) Teaching all subject matter is expected. Teaching
only the answers is not acceptable. 2. Cadets who properly and successfully complete the Advanced II BMR course will be credited as having completed the BMR course. This credit meets NSCC requirements.
