NSCC INFORMATION LETTER 4-05

1. This is the NSCC information letter announcing 2005 NSCC/NLCC summer training opportunities. It is promulgated IAW ref (a). Submit applications for summer training in accordance with the guidance provided in this letter.

2. CONTENTS. This letter is organized in a series of parts and sections followed by the appendixes. They are listed below. Enclosures (1) through (3) follow the appendixes. General Training Guidelines are in Parts 1 and 2. Guidelines are arranged in sections by general topic or type training for your quick reference. Part 2 includes procedures for submitting for 2005 summer training. The traditional NSCC/NLCC training schedule for 2005 is at encl (1). As additions, deletions, changes occur they will be immediately posted to the NSCC web site. All hands must review this letter in its' entirety, and pay particular attention to those parts and sections relevant to their training. Coast Guard training opportunities are at encl (2). Specific guidelines for arranging this training are as provided in encl (2). Funding request forms and the Escort Allowance Worksheet for COTC's are at encl (3)

Naval Reservists interested in providing support for NSCC Summer Training 2005 are authorized to submit requests for paid annual training orders IAW ref (c). This information letter is canceled effective 1 February 2006.
