 8 March 1999 NSCC INFORMATION LETTER 6-99
1. Nomination for the NSCC Hall of Fame recognition are encouraged and must be sent in time to be received at NHQ no later than 15 May 1999. 2. The award is intended to recognize outstanding NSCC/NLCC volunteer service, of fifteen years or more, of continuous actions that resulted in significant contributions at the national level. The award was established at the 1998 Mid-Winter meeting. 3. The number of recipients selected is normally limited to one each year, but the number may vary from year to year. Nominations must include specific statements to achievement so the selection committee may make a reasonable considered recommendation to the NSCC's National Chairman. 4. The first recipient will be named at the Navy League / Naval Sea Cadet Corps national convention to be held in Chicago, IL in July 1999, if there is a suitable candidate.
