NSCC INFORMATION LETTER 11-98

1. This is the 1998 NSCC/NLCC Winter Training Schedule. NSC-22's may be submitted IAW directions provided for training opportunities in this letter. At enclosure (1) are the dates and locations for 1998 winter training. For all training:

• A $50.00 deposit is required.
  
• The $50.00 deposit is to be sent with the NSC-22 directly to the COTC at the address provided. COTC's will retain the deposit and batch forward NSC-22's to NHQ for final approval and issuance of orders.
  
• NHQ will send orders to the Unit CO for distribution to cadets. Unit CO's ensure cadet preparation (including medical qualification) IAW refs (a) and (b).
  
• Balance of payment will be due to the COTC upon reporting for training; cash, cashiers check or money order.

2. Additional general notes:

(a). Request for Training Authority NSC-22 (Rev 2/98) must be used. Requests using old forms will be returned. The Rev 2/98 edition has on the reverse side the authorization for release of information required by our NSCC insurance provider.

(b). ID cards must be up to date through end of training requested. An expired ID card means that the insurance has also expired, and we cannot issue orders.

3. This information letter is cancelled effective 31 January 1999.
