NSCC INFORMATION LETTER 3-97 (Revision One)
1. Please make the following updates to Enclosure (1) of reference (a). a. Page 1 of "1997 SUMMER TRAINING GUIDELINES": Dates for NETC Newport, RI should be 3 August-16 August. b. Everyone must use the four (4) codes shown on the 1997 NAVY TRAINING SCHEDULE, when completing the TRAINING REQUESTED block on the NSC-22, vice the codes "on the bacl" of the NSC-22. c. "1997 NAVY TRAINING SCHEDULE", pages 1-9: 1. The following sites have been confirmed: BASIC AIRMAN at NAS MIRAMAR (AN-CA)(at a COST of $120), NAS Willow Grove (AN-PA), and NAS PT MUGU (AN-CI); and MEDICAL TRAINING (at a COST OF $115) at NH BETHESDA (MD-MD). 2. Change: Cancel/Delete ADVANCED AIRMAN at NAS MIRAMAR (AV-CA),(pg 2), (quotas for Basic Airman will be increased); Dates for EXCHANGE: (pg 4), CANADA WEST (FX-CS) to (7/14/97 - 7/28/97), REMARKS (Escort Officer Billets Filled); LEADERSHIP ACADEMY (pg 5), NAS Willow Grove, PHONE for CWO2 O'BRION (302) 633-0502, REMARKS CK IN AT 1000 on Monday,: 23 June, and Cancel/Delete the line for Beal AFB (LC-CA); END Date for NLCC ADVANCED TNG (pg 6) for NAS BARBERS POINT (NL-HI) is 6/28/97; NSCC RECRUIT TNG (pg 8), END Date for RTC GREAT LAKES (RT-IL) is 7/7/97, FT DIX (RT-NJ), PHONE for LCDR LUKASIEWICZ (330)686-0207, and USA FT HUACHUCA (RT-AZ) COST ($135 VICE $125); and SUBMARINE SEMINARS (pg 9), NSB KINGS BAY, PHONE for LTJG GARRINGER (912) 673-3963. 3. ADD: Training for LEADERSHIP ACADEMY (LC-HL), NLCC ADVANCED TNG (NL-LH), AVIATION SURVIVAL (AS-OH, AS-O1, and AS-O3), CB BASIC FIELD OPS (CF-OH and CF-O1). The training information for these additional sites is shown on the attached two pages. 2. This information letter is canceled effective 30 September 1997.
