NSCC/NLCC ACTION LETTER 02-09

1. Purpose: To promulgate the revised NSCC Medical Reference, Policy and Procedures Manual.

2. Discussion: NSCC medical policies and procedures fell out of date and required updating.  NSCC’s medical policies and procedures were updated and consolidated into one new manual titled, NSCC Medical Reference, Policy and Procedures Manual in March of 2008.  It has since been revised again to ensure NSCC’s full compliance with the Americans With Disabilities Act, and is at encl (1).  This revised manual has been separately promulgated and posted to the 1 MC.  It will be maintained for all hands on the NSCC resource portal website at resources.seacadets.org .

3. Action: The NSCC Medical Reference, Policy and Procedures Manual (Revised May 2009 to include Americans With Disabilities Act Accommodation) is effective this date and will remain in effect until further updated or superseded.
