Encl: (1) NSCC/NLCC Advancement and Training Manual dated April 2005

1. Purpose. Enclosure (1) is forwarded. It is a total revision of the NSCC Advancement and Training Manual and should be reviewed in its’ entirety. References (a) thru (l) have been incorporated into encl (1), and are now cancelled.

2. Discussion. Encl (1) was re-written in concert with the annual rewrite and update of ref (m). Ref (n) is also under revision. These 3 documents all compliment one another and represent the NSCC training program for any given year. They are further supported by refs (o) and (p). In preparing unit training schedules as well as cadets for summer training, Unit CO’s and staff are to ensure a review of encl (1) and refs (m) and (n). All are important and all support the NSCC training program.

3. Action. Upon receipt of encl (1) destroy ALL copies of the outdated manual. Local reproduction of the manual is authorized. Encl (1) is also available on the Sea Cadet Resource page for reference.

4. Cancellation. This letter is cancelled upon receipt encl (1).
