 15 November 1994 NSCC ACTION LETTER 13-94
1. After long and careful deliberation and consultation with leadership in the field, I am announcing an increase in NSCC/NLCC annual enrollment fees of $5.00 effective 1 January 1995. The NSCC Board of Directors approved this increase at its winter meeting on 13 November 1994 in Fort Lauderdale. This is done with some reluctance, but we find it necessary in order to meet all our operating and training commitments while maintaining a balanced budget. The last increase in fees was six years ago in 1988, and inflation alone has far surpassed this modest increase. 2. This budget increase will allow us to move forward with our training program while keeping up with increased expenses across the board such as postal rate hikes, printing, summer training, and other necessities. 3. Enrollment/reenrollments sent to National Headquarters postmarked after 31 December 1994 must be accompanied by enrollment fees as summarized below and outlined in enclosure (1).
4. Reference (a) is cancelled effective 1 January 1995.
